Maddie Mackey is a San Diego-born content creator, filmmaker, and brand strategist who has spent her career helping entrepreneurs and small businesses show up powerfully online. As the founder of Media On The Rise, she leads a full-service creative agency specializing in social media strategy, on-location content production, and brand storytelling.
Maddie's connection to Costa Rica runs deeper than a beautiful backdrop. Her grandmother is from Nicaragua, and Central America has always held a sacred place in her heart — a place where creativity, culture, and community weave together naturally. Leading retreats in La Fortuna feels like coming home.
As your director on the ground, Maddie will guide your brand shoot, lead content strategy sessions, and make sure you leave with content that actually reflects who you are — not just what your feed looks like. Her gift is making the camera feel like the most natural thing in the world.
